The decomposing body of a man was discovered with multiple stab wounds at his home in Wakefield, Trelawny, on Wednesday evening.
The deceased has been identified as 59-year-old Errol Shirley of York Pasture, also in Wakefield, Trelawny.
Reports indicate that around 6:30 pm, residents smelled a foul odor coming from Shirley’s house and went to investigate. Upon entering the house, they discovered Shirley’s body lying inside with multiple stab wounds to the head and chest.
The police were summoned, and upon arrival, the scene was processed, and the body was removed to the morgue for a post-mortem examination.
