MANCHESTER, Jamaica — The body of a man bearing what appeared to be gunshot wounds was discovered on a haul road in Brokenhurst, Manchester, on Monday morning.
The deceased has not yet been identified by the police.
Head of the Manchester Police Division, Superintendent Carey Duncan, who was on location, told journalists that residents reported hearing loud explosions about 9:00 p.m. on Sunday. However, he said the police were not alerted until early Monday morning, when a passer-by came upon the man’s body along the road.
Up to mid-morning on Monday, detectives were processing the scene as investigations continued.
