SPANISH TOWN, St Catherine — Police in Spanish Town are investigating the murder of a 25-year-old man in the town centre this morning.
The victim has been identified as Adrian Boothe, also known as “Munchie,” of March Pen Road, Spanish Town.
According to reports, around 9:30 a.m., Boothe was seen bleeding heavily and running from the area near the train station on March Pen Road. Eyewitnesses say he collapsed on the road, where he was found lying on his left side with apparent stab wounds to his neck.
Boothe was rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital by bystanders but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the attack and are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in their inquiries.
