USA , (Bazaar via Mckoy’s News) – Malia Obama and Yara Shahidi: Yara Shahidi is a Black-ish star, rising style icon and inspiring young feminist, so it’s no surprise the 17-year-old got into every college she applied to. (A recommendation letter from former First Lady Michelle Obama doesn’t hurt either.) Yesterday, the graduating teen revealed which school she ultimately decided to attend: Harvard University.
If she enrolls this fall, the actress will have a fellow famous classmate – Malia Obama. The former First Daughter graduated high school in June 2016, but decided to take a gap year before matriculating to Harvard in 2017. Currently, the 18-year-old is pursuing her interest in film by interning for Harvey Weinstein in New York City.
We can already picture them studying together on the quad (and hopefully even plotting their campaign as running mates in 2024, but I digress). Until then, Shahidi is adorably celebrating graduating from high school.
