The Green Island police in Hanover are probing the death of a farmer, who was shot and killed by unknown assailants in Green Island community, on Thursday morning, June 21.
The deceased has been identified as 61-year-old Glenroy Hamilton, otherwise called ‘Magnum’, of Caudwell district, also in Green Island, Hanover.
Reports are that about 1:30am, residents in Caudwell alerted the police after hearing gunshots coming from a section of the community.
The lawmen drove to the location, and on arrival they discovered Hamilton who was lying in a pool of blood, with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
The scene was processed and Hamilton was pronounced dead at hospital.
