KINGSTON, Jamaica — Murder charges have been laid against Chanardo Wilmot, a maintenance worker from Mile End, Ocho Rios, following the fatal stabbing of 34-year-old tiler, Chadroy Nash, in Inverness, Alexandria, St Ann, on Wednesday night.
Reports from the Alexandria Police are that around 8:50 p.m., Wilmot allegedly saw his girlfriend in Nash’s company. A heated argument broke out, during which Wilmot reportedly used a knife to stab Nash several times.
Nash was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead.
Following swift police investigations, Wilmot was taken into custody and was formally charged on Friday, September 26. His court date is now being finalised.
