The Linstead police in St Catherine are investigating the death of a senior citizen whose body was discovered in bed at his home early Sunday morning.
He has been identified as 68-year-old farmer Leroy Goodwill, of Ginger Hill, Treadways.
Police report that a bottle containing an insecticide was found next to the body.
Around 4:55 a.m., lawmen were summoned to the community, where they found Goodwill lying on his back on a bed with a liquid substance coming from his mouth.
The scene was processed, and the body was removed to the morgue pending a post-mortem examination.
