A 28-year-old Clarendon man already facing serious charges, including rape, is now accused of committing multiple robberies in St Thomas between May 10 and 30.
He has been identified as Michael Thomas, of Thompson Town district, Mocho, Clarendon.
According to the Clarendon police, Thomas has been charged with:

Robbery with aggravation (3 counts)

Being in possession of a prohibited weapon (3 counts)

Using a prohibited weapon to commit a felony (3 counts)

Assault at common law
Reports indicate that Thomas, armed with a firearm, targeted several businesses across the parish where he allegedly stole cash and valuables.
Following investigations, he was apprehended by the police on June 10 and subsequently identified by witnesses.
Thomas was already before the court on separate charges of rape, robbery with aggravation, and illegal possession of a firearm.
He is scheduled to appear before the May Pen Parish Court on Monday to answer to the latest charges.
