KINGSTON, Jamaica — In a heartwarming display of dedication and community service, officers from the Kingston Western Division assisted a woman in delivering her baby at home yesterday.
Sergeant McCoy, Constable Salmon, and their team were called to the scene to escort the mother to the hospital. Upon arrival, they discovered that she was in an advanced stage of labor.

Demonstrating quick thinking and professionalism, the team assisted with the delivery of the newborn before ensuring the mother and child were safely transported to the hospital for further care.
The incident highlights the police force’s commitment to public service, showing that their role extends beyond law enforcement to providing aid during medical emergencies, natural disasters, and other community crises.
