Jamaica News, February 27, 2018 – Kingston Taxi Operator Shot

Kingston, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – The Olympics Gardens police have now launched an investigation surrounding the shooting death of a taxi operator in the area on Saturday morning, February 24.

The deceased has been identified as 43-year-old Moxrovie Locke, otherwise called “Donovan”, taxi operator and Mason of Lothian Avenue also in Kingston 11.

Reports are that shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Saturday,  Locke drove inside his yard at Lothian Avenue and was ambushed by a lone gunman. The gunman opened fire hitting the victim to his upper body.

The Olympics Gardens police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded man was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The police stated that they believe robbery could have been the motive for this latest killing.
