Kingston Central Police Seize Mac-11 Submachine Gun and Ammunition in King Street Operation

Kingston, Jamaica — The Kingston Central police seized a Mac-11 submachine gun along with 38 assorted rounds of ammunition during an early morning operation on King Street on Wednesday. The firearm and ammunition were found in an abandoned building as part of a targeted operation in the area.

According to police reports, around 6:30 a.m., law enforcement officers were conducting a search of the abandoned premises when they discovered the weapon. The Mac-11 submachine gun was equipped with a magazine containing fifteen 9mm rounds. Additionally, officers seized thirteen more 9mm rounds and ten 5.56 rounds of ammunition.

No arrests were made in connection with the discovery, and police are continuing their investigation.
