JUTC Canteen Worker Stabbed to Death

St. Catherine, Jamaica (McN) – JUTC CANTEEN WORKER STABBED: A canteen worker at the JUTC’s Twickenham Park depot in Spanish Town, St Catherine was fatally stabbed on Monday morning at work.

Dead is Raymond McDonald, canteen manager at the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) bus depot in Twickenham Park, St Catherine.

The Spanish Town police report that  at approximately 9:55 am, McDonald and another canteen worker got into an altercation, he was stabbed during the incident.

Both McDonald and the man that stabbed him to death worked for the  concessionaire at the JUTC’s Twickenham Park depot in Spanish Town.

Another man, employed to the JUTC who  tried to break-up the fight, received lacerations to his hand, and was treated at hospital.

The man who is accused of  the fatal stabbing was apprehended by security on the compound of the JUTC and handed over to the police.

McDonald was taken to hospital and was pronounced dead.
