Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: One man was shot and killed by a lone gunman along a section of Anderson Drive, in Kingston 5, on Thursday February 21.
The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Richard Jackson, otherwise called “Junior” of Arnold Road also in Kingston 5.
Reports reaching our news room are that about 5:30 p.m., Jackson was walking along a pathway at Arnold Road when he was approached by a man.
The man brandished a handgun and opened fire hitting him multiple times to his upper body, before making his escape in the area on foot.
The Half-Way-Tree police were summoned and upon their arrival, Jackson was rushed to hospital where he died whilst being treated.
