A contractor working for the Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS) has died after falling from a ladder while carrying out duties in Trelawny on Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. in the Butt Up Town area of Albert Town, located in the southern section of the parish. Residents reported that the contractor, identified by sources as 66-year-old Courtney Robinson of Mandeville, Manchester, fell from the ladder and suffered severe head injuries.
He was later pronounced dead.
The Constabulary Communications Network (CCN) confirmed the incident but did not provide further details.
