Jamaica’s national under 17 Reggae Boys to face Cuba in two games series

Jamaica’s national under 17 Reggae Boys will be getting additional friendly matches when they face the Cuban national under 17 team in a two game series in Jamaica on February 26 and February 28th.

Cuba will also be participating in the Concacaf under 17 championship in Panama in group B’.

Cuba will play alongside Costa Rica; Canada and Suriname whilst Jamaica is in group C’ alongside Mexico; USA and El Salvador.

Jamaica plays its first game against the USA on April 23rd and Cuba its first game on April 22nd.

The Concacaf under 17 championship will be played April 21 to May 7.

The match up will added competition for Jamaica following matches against USA and Canada at the end of last year

The matches against Cuba will come just under a month of the full residential camp of Jamaica’s under 17’s and therefore will further help the technical staff in assessing the preparedness of the squad.

The Cuban national under 17 team will arrive into the island on February 24 .
