Jamaica Public Service Probing Electrocution of Men Riding Motorcycle

Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Jamaica Public Service Probing Electrocution: Two men who were traveling on the West End main road in Negril, Westmoreland on Tuesday (December 12, 2017) were electrocuted.

Reports are that the men who were traveling on a motorcycle came into contact with an electrical wire located on the same West End main road.

The JPS is now carrying out investigations and working with the police as they try to restore calm to the area as a result of roadblocks mounted by the residents in the area. The residents have accused the utility company of negligence and have shown their anger by mounting the roadblocks.

The JPS said as soon as access is available, its teams will restore electricity.
