Kingston, Jamaica — Jhadee “Jaii Frais” Richards and Jahvel “Jahvy Ambassador” Morrison were each granted bail in the sum of $1.5 million when they appeared before the Gun Court in Kingston on Friday.
The two men are facing multiple charges stemming from a violent incident at a recent carnival event. Richards is charged with shooting with intent, possession of a prohibited weapon, and using a firearm to commit a felony. Morrison faces charges including wounding with intent, along with other firearm-related offences.
As part of their bail conditions, both men are required to surrender their travel documents and report to the police three times weekly. They have also been placed under a nightly curfew from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am. Additionally, the court issued a gag order prohibiting them from discussing the case publicly, including on social media platforms or podcasts.
The charges are linked to an altercation that reportedly took place at a popular carnival party known as “Big Wall,” where tensions escalated into violence involving individuals connected to members of the local entertainment scene.
The matter is set to return to court on July 8, 2026, as investigations and legal proceedings continue.
Further details are expected to emerge as the case develops.
