Dancehall artiste Kaseeno seems to be a man of many monikers and testament to the adage “never giving up on your dreams”.
The western Jamaica native appears a fresh face to dancehall; however, the now-viral sensation has been knocking on the door of stardom for some time.
Kaseeno originally made his foray as a youngster into the music industry during the 1990s without much success; he was also a contestant in Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall (known as Maxibilian) before securing a finalist spot in the 2017 JCDC Gospel Song Competition under the name Vylmark Hamilton. His gospel entry was titled “Too Late”. Fast-forward 2022, and he has resurfaced with a brand new name, image and sound currently generating a buzz.
Since reinventing himself and releasing the visual for the catchy composition “Baby Come Over”, Kaseeno has been causing quite a stir on social media with his ‘Hell Boy/Shrek’ image and remains a trending topic on social media.
He’s currently being touted by social media users as possible the next breakout star of the genre.
