An investigation is underway to determine who is responsible for the brutal murder of a senior citizen in Bog Walk, St Catherine. The victim, 65-year-old Patricia Watson, a poultry farmer from the Cow Gully area, was discovered with her throat slashed in her yard late last night.
The gruesome discovery was made by a relative at approximately 9:40 p.m. Watson was immediately rushed to Linstead Hospital, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival. The incident has sent shockwaves through the quiet community, leaving residents in fear and disbelief.
As of now, authorities have not established a motive for Watson’s murder. The Bog Walk Criminal Investigation Branch has taken charge of the case and is actively probing the matter to bring those responsible to justice.
