This action follows initial findings related to the November 10 incident, where officers reported encountering a group of men on Windward Road. During the encounter, gunfire was reportedly exchanged, resulting in the deaths of three men, two alleged illegal firearms seized, and one officer injured.
The JCF stated that the detention was based on specific information and pledged cooperation with the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) to ensure a transparent investigation. The High Command emphasized its support for accountability and professionalism, expressing commitment to a fair and thorough inquiry.
