Residents in Wakefield, Trelawny, discovered two illegal handguns and several rounds of ammunition in their community on Sunday.
Reports indicate that around 10:30 a.m., residents in the Bunkers Hill district found the weapons among debris and promptly notified the police.
Upon arrival, the law enforcement officers were handed a .45 pistol, a .380 pistol, and three live .380 cartridges.
No arrests have been made in connection with this discovery.
