Jamaica Crime News, St Elizabeth: An Askel .45 pistol loaded with (3) three live .45 rounds was seized on a school compound in Black River, St. Elizabeth on Sunday, September 23.
No one has been arrested in connection with the seizure.
Reports by the Black River police are that about 12:30 p.m., the police received information that a group of suspicious men was seen lurking on the school compound.
The lawmen went to the compound and carried out an operation.
During a search of the area, a knap-sack bag was seen hanging from the branch of a tree.
A search of the bag led to the discovery of the weapon.
