Jamaica Crime News, St Ann: The St Ann police say they have now seized another illegal firearm from the streets of the parish on Friday morning, May 11.
Up to news time, the police had still not clearly stated if anyone had been taken into custody in connection with the seizure.
Reports by the Ochi Rios police are that shortly after 2:40 a.m. on Friday, a team of officers carried out an operation along a section of the area known as Great Pond.
During a search of the area, a 9 mm pistol along with several live rounds was found.
The Ochi Rios police are now investigating.
