Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: Illegal Firearm Seized – One illegal firearm and several rounds of ammunition were seized during an operation carried out at August Town Road, in Kingston 7, on Saturday, March 16.
No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
Reports by the August Town police are that between the hours of 2:30 p.m., to 3:30 p.m., a team of officers carried out an operation at a premises located on August Town Road.

During the operation, an unfinished building was searched and a 9mm Beretta semi-automatic pistol fitted with a magazine containing nine live 9mm rounds, was found buried in a black plastic bag, and wrapped in a white T-shirt.
