More than a year after the disappearance of British-Jamaican national Dawn Rose Anderson, police have charged her husband with her murder.
The accused, 39-year-old Angrea Morrison, also known by the aliases “Bredda-Bredda,” “Ninjaman,” “Badness,” and “Andre,” was taken into custody during a targeted joint police operation in Montego Bay on Thursday, February 6.
Morrison had reportedly been evading authorities since Anderson went missing in 2024. He was formally charged on February 12 following a question-and-answer interview conducted in the presence of his attorney. Investigators say the charge was laid based on statements obtained from witnesses.
Police reports indicate that Anderson arrived in Jamaica from overseas and checked into a hotel with Morrison on November 24. The couple reportedly checked out the following day, November 25.
Three days later, relatives reported her missing after unsuccessful attempts to contact her.
On December 2, 2024, Anderson’s body was discovered in a shallow grave in Petersfield, Westmoreland. Following the discovery, Morrison and his twin brother were listed as persons of interest in the investigation.
The matter is now before the court as investigations continue.
