Hunts Bay Police Commenced Probe in Stabbing Death of 16-year-old Student

Jamaica Crime News, Kingson: The Hunts Bay police in Kingston say they are presently in search of a group of teenage students, who reportedly stabbed another teenager to death along a section of Payne Avenue, in Kingston on Tuesday afternoon, March 19.

The dead student has been identified as 16-year-old Jaleel Drysdale, who resided at Logos Drive in Kingston 13.

15-year-old Student Murdered in August Town

Reports by the police are that about 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jaleel was returning home from school when he was accosted by a group of male students along a section of Payne Avenue, in Kingston 11.

During the altercation, Jaleel was stabbed several times to the upper body by the other boys, who later fled the scene.

The police were summoned and upon their arrival, the wounded student was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
