Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: 15-year-old Student Murdered – The August Town police are now carrying out investigations surrounding the shooting death of a teenage boy at his home in the community on Sunday, March 17.
The dead student has been identified as 15-year-old Rushane Marland, otherwise called “Secret” student of Goldsmith Villa, August Town, Kingston 7.

Reports by the police are that about 12:35 a.m., Rushane was lying down in his room when a lone gunman walked into the yard and fired several gunshots through the bedroom window, hitting the teenage boy.
Family members were alerted and upon their arrival, they found Rushane lying in a pool of blood.
The police were summoned and upon their arrival, Rushane was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
