A 37-year-old higgler was shot and seriously injured in Brown’s Town, St. Ann, on Friday night.
Reports indicate that shortly after 8:00 pm, the higgler had just closed up his small business and was walking along the roadway near a pharmacy when a black Honda Civic drove up and stopped.
A man exited the vehicle and opened fire, hitting ‘Irons’ in the chest before escaping in the waiting car.
The wounded man was rushed to the hospital, where he was treated and admitted in critical condition.
