The West Kingston police say they have taken one man into custody in connection with the murder of reputed ex-lieutenant of drug Lord Christopher ‘ Dudus’ Coke, 51-year-old Harry McLeod, otherwise called ‘ Harry Dog’.
Reports by the police are that McLeod and a group of men were sitting on a wall located at a section of the area known as ‘Bumps’ at the intersection of Spanish Town Road and Darling Street, when a car drove up, and armed men said to be from another section of West Kingston jumped out and brandished high powered rifles.
The men opened fire hitting McLeod multiple times before making their escape in the waiting motor car.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, McLeod was rushed to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Harry Dog, is said to have been a hardcore member of the notorious Presidential Click Gang which operated out of West Kingston and was formed by incarcerated drug Lord, Christopher ‘ Dudus’ Coke.
The police related that this is not the first attempt that has been made on the life of the now-deceased former gang member.
