Investigators in the parish of Clarendon have commenced an investigation surrounding the death of a female security guard, and another man, who were both discovered shot to death at a premises in Race Track, Clarendon, on the weekend.
The victims have been identified as 55-year-old Careen Walters, otherwise called ‘ Paula’, and a man known so far only as ‘ Jermaine’, both of Sunset Gardens, in Race Track district.
Reports are that about 12:10 am, on Sunday, residents in the community heard loud explosions coming from a house occupied by both victims, and summoned the police.
The lawmen traveled to the location, and upon their arrival, both victims were found suffering from gunshot wounds.
They were both rushed to hospital where they were pounced dead.
