A shooting incident in Harbour View, located in eastern Kingston, claimed the life of a young man and left another injured on Saturday evening.
The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Wayne Campbell, a resident of Pleasant Heights in Rockfort, Kingston 2. According to police reports, Campbell and another man were on St. Thomas Boulevard around 5:35 p.m. when they were ambushed by unknown gunmen.
Both men sustained gunshot wounds and were rushed to the Kingston Public Hospital. Campbell succumbed to his injuries, while the other man remains hospitalized and is receiving medical care.
Investigations into the attack are ongoing as authorities work to determine a motive and identify those responsible
