A Hanover man has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition after being shot multiple times by an armed assailant on the Johnson Town main road in Lucea on Wednesday night.
Reports indicate that around 8:45 pm, the man, known as ‘Bird,’ left his home and was walking towards Lucea when he was approached by a man who brandished a handgun. The gunman opened fire, hitting Bird multiple times. Despite his injuries, Bird managed to run from the scene and took cover in the dark.
The gunman escaped on foot, and Bird, who sustained several gunshot wounds, was transported to the Noel Holmes Hospital. He was treated and admitted in critical condition.
