A landscaper died from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Falmouth, Trelawny, on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Omar, a landscaper.
Reports indicate that around 5:00 pm, Omar was traveling in a line of traffic on a motorcycle in Falmouth, Trelawny. Upon reaching a section of Market Street near the Falmouth Market, he attempted to overtake the line of traffic and collided with a Toyota Hiace bus turning into the marketplace.
Omar was thrown from the motorcycle and sustained head and body injuries. He was rushed to the Falmouth Hospital, where he died while being treated.
