Hanover: Lucea Bike – Taxi Accident Kills Motorcyclist

Lucea, Hanover (McN)Hanover Motorcyclist Killed: A man is now dead and another admitted to the Noel Holmes Hospital in Hanover in serious condition following their involvements in a motor vehicle accident which occurred along the Watson Taylor Park main road in Lucea Hanover on Sunday afternoon, April 9.

Dead is Devon Brisset, otherwise called (Pepper Red), 45-year-old of Haughton Court also in Lucea.

Reports are that about 6:00 pm on Sunday, Brissett was riding a motorcycle from the directions of Lucea Township towards Haughton Court.

On reaching a section of the Watson Taylor Park main road in the vicinity of the Ruseas High School, he collided head-on with a Taxi motor car which was traveling in the opposite direction.

Both vehicles were severely damaged and both the driver of the Taxi and the rider sustained head and body injuries. The impact of the crash resulted in one of Brissett’s arms been severed.

The driver of the Taxi along with the motorcycle rider were rushed to hospital where Brissett was pronounced dead.

The Lucea Traffic Department are now conducted an investigation into this latest crash.
