Jamaica Crime News, Hanover: Hanover Man Found Guilty – A Hanover man who was caught in possession of a quantity of cocaine in 2017, was found guilty when he appeared in the Westmoreland Parish Court, on Tuesday, March 19.
The accused Denmark McGhie, a 32-year-old businessman of Welcome district in Hanover, was found guilty on charges of dealing in cocaine, possession of cocaine and attempting to export cocaine.

Reports are that about 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2017, a team of officers were carrying out patrol duties along a section of the Cove main road in Westmoreland, when they intercepted a motor vehicle being driven by the accused.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of seven parcels of cocaine weighing seventeen pounds.
McGhie was found guilty on Tuesday and is booked to reappear in court on April 5, where he will be sentenced.
