Gunman Injures Two Along Barnett Street in Montego Bay

A man and a woman are in stable condition at Cornwall Regional Hospital after being shot by a lone gunman while walking along Barnett Street in Montego Bay on Sunday morning.

The police have launched a manhunt for a suspect known only as ‘TR,’ from a Montego Bay address.

Reports indicate that the male and female victims were walking along Barnett Street when they were approached by ‘TR,’ who brandished a handgun and opened fire, hitting both victims multiple times before fleeing on foot.

The police were called to the scene, and both victims, suffering from gunshot wounds, were rushed to Cornwall Regional Hospital for treatment and were admitted.

It has been reported that ‘TR’ is an alleged cousin of the male victim. The suspect, along with another man, had reportedly held up the victims at gunpoint and attempted to rob them sometime last week.
