St. Elizabeth, Jamaica – Tragedy struck at Bull Savannah Primary School on Wednesday morning when a Grade Six student collapsed in her classroom and later died.
The child, who has been identified by the alias “Jada,” was reportedly rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that Jada had been living with a heart condition and was using a pacemaker. It’s alleged that the device’s battery may have failed, though this has not been officially verified. Authorities say a post-mortem will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
Educators and classmates have been left shaken by the sudden loss. Heartfelt condolences go out to Jada’s family, friends, and the staff and students of Bull Savannah Primary School during this difficult time.
