The Montego Hills police are reporting the seizure of a Glock 19 pistol and a empty M16 magazine, which were seized in the community of Salt Spring on Thursday afternoon.
Reports are that about 12:30pm, the police carried out an operation in the Salt Spring community, where an open lot and an unoccupied building were searched and the illegal firearm fitted with an empty magazine, and the empty M16 magazine discovered.
No one has been arrested in connection with the seizure.
