Man Shot to Death in Cassava Piece, St Andrew  

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: The Constant Spring police say they are have now gathered some new leads which they believe can assist them in their investigations, surrounding the shooting death of a man in the area on Saturday, June 2, 2018.

The dead man has been identified as Ian Robinson, laborer of a Cassava Piece address also in the Constant Spring area.

Reports by the police are that shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Robinson was walking in the vicinity of the Constant Spring market when a Nissan AD Wagon motor car drove up to him.

One man alighted from the rear of the vehicle and opened fire on Robinson who was shot multiple times to his upper body. The gunman then jumped back into the car which sped away.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded man was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
