The Hanover police have arrested a man wanted by the United States government on multiple charges, including lottery scamming.
The accused is 35-year-old Dwayne Anderson, also known as ‘Blue,’ from Old Road in Lucea, Hanover.
Reports indicate that between 4:00 am and 6:00 am on Thursday, units from the Jamaica Fugitive Apprehension Team and the Area One Operations Support Team conducted an operation in the Old Road district of Lucea.
During the operation, Anderson was found inside a house and taken into custody.
Investigators report that he is wanted in the USA on charges of money laundering, wire fraud, mail fraud, and lottery scamming.
