Freeport Police Launch Investigation into Death of Tourist

Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Freeport Police Launch Investigation: The Freeport police in Montego Bay St James are now awaiting a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death of a male tourist. He died while in bed at a resort in the second city on Tuesday (August 15, 2017) morning.

The deceased has been identified as 43-yr-old Jasbinber Kaller, Compliance Officer of 8 Danson Meadows, Wellington Kent ,DA.

Reports by the police are that Mr. Kaller, along with his wife and daughter arrived in the island recently and was staying at the SunScape Resort in Freeport Montego Bay.

About 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, his wife woke up and found him motionless in the bed and raised an alarm.

He was quickly rushed to the Fairfield Medical Centre where he was pronounced dead whilst being treated.

The police was called and the scene was processed. The officers are continuing their investigations.
