Four police officers attached to the Manchester Police Division were hospitalised early Monday morning following a motor vehicle crash along the Nine Miles main road in Spaldings, Clarendon.
Reports are that the incident occurred shortly after 5:00 a.m. while the officers were on routine patrol duty.
The service vehicle reportedly veered off the roadway and plunged into a yard located below the main road, overturning in the process.
The impact damaged the side of a house on the premises and left all four officers injured.
The injured lawmen were taken to hospital, where they received treatment.
Investigations are underway to determine the circumstances that led to the crash.
