St. Andrew, Jamaica — Police foiled a murder-for-hire plot on Monday, July 21, after a shootout on Jacks Hill Road left five men dead and four guns recovered.
Around 12:40 p.m., officers investigating the plot came under heavy gunfire at a premises. The police returned fire, fatally injuring five men, who were later pronounced dead at hospital. Their identities are still unknown.
A shotgun, M16 rifle, Glock, and Taurus pistol were seized. No officers were hurt.
Police are now searching for a sixth suspect and urging Courtney Ashley, otherwise called ‘Bloodstain,’ to report to C-TOC.
