St. Catherine, Jamaica – A firearm was seized, and a man taken into custody following a targeted police operation in St. Catherine on Sunday.
According to a police report, law enforcement officers conducted a snap raid at approximately 1:15 p.m., during which they searched a location and discovered a Smith & Wesson 9mm pistol.
The weapon was seized, and the man was detained in connection with the find.
Investigations are ongoing as authorities work to determine the origin of the firearm and whether the suspect is linked to any criminal activities.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) continues its efforts to curb illegal firearms and reduce gun-related crimes across the island.
