Female Perish in Fatal Trelawny Crash

Jamaica News, St James: Our news team has learned that a female passenger who was travelling in a motor vehicle along a section of the Braco main road in the parish of Trelawny on Thursday afternoon of June 28th, lost her life when the vehicle in which she was travelling collided with a Greyhound bus.

The police say they have not yet gotten the true identity of the dead female.

The Trelawny police have reported that shortly after 3:00 p.m., the female was travelling on board a motor car with three other persons on board. On reaching a section of the Braco main road, the vehicle collided with a Grey Hound bus owned by Knutsford Express in Montego Bay,  St James.  It is further stated that the impact of the crash resulted in over ten persons being injured.

Our news team learned that several of the victims who were wounded in the accident were those travelling in the Knutsford Express bus.

They were all rushed to the Falmouth hospital where the female was pronounced dead and the other victims admitted in serious condition.
