Fatal Crash Claims Three Lives in Ocho Rios

A tragic four-vehicle crash on Dunn’s River main road in Ocho Rios left three dead and an infant critically injured on Wednesday night.

The deceased individuals include 55-year-old vendor Christopher White, 42-year-old Karen Browning, and 41-year-old Robert Muir, who was also a vendor. All three were residents of Beacon Hill, Thompson Pen, in St. Catherine.

Police reported that the crash occurred around 8:30 pm and included a Honda Fit, a Nissan Lafesta, a Nissan AD Wagon, and a Range Rover.

Further reports are that all vehicles except the Range Rover were travelling in an easterly  direction when upon reaching in the vicinity of Pearly Beach, the Range Rover failed to stay in its lane, leading to the crash.

Emergency services, including the police and fire brigade, responded to the scene. The injured were transported to St. Ann’s Bay Hospital, where the occupants of the Nissan AD Wagon were pronounced dead.
