A tragic collision on the PJ Patterson Highway claimed the life of one man and two others injured on Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased, identified as 42-year-old Kevin Rose from Guy’s Hill in St Catherine, succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident.
The collision involved two white Toyota Probox cars and a white Sinotruk Howo truck, all traveling eastbound on the highway. Near the highway’s vicinity, the truck collided with one of the Probox cars, causing a chain reaction.

The impact propelled Rose from one of the vehicles, resulting in fatal head injuries. Emergency responders rushed him to the May Pen Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Fortunately, the other two drivers involved in the collision were treated for injuries at the hospital and later discharged.
As investigations into the incident continue, authorities urge caution and adherence to road safety measures to prevent such tragic accidents in the future.
