The Morgan’s Bridge police in Grange Hill, Westmoreland, have launched an investigation into the shooting death of a farmer in Paul Island, Grange Hill, Westmoreland, on Friday morning.
The deceased has been identified as 39-year-old Randal Gray, also known as ‘Ren’, a farmer from Truro district in Burnt Savannah, Westmoreland.
Reports indicate that around 10:30 am, Gray and a group of farmers were at a location in Paul Island, Grange Hill, Westmoreland, when two men rode up on a motorcycle.
The men brandished handguns and opened fire, hitting Gray before escaping on the motorcycle.
The police were summoned, and upon arrival, Gray was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
