Manhattan, New York — Moments after Sean “Diddy” Combs was found not guilty of the most serious criminal charges against him, the streets outside the Manhattan courthouse erupted in bizarre celebration.
A crowd of jubilant supporters gathered — and in a spectacle that echoed themes from Diddy’s now-infamous “freak-offs,” fans began lathering themselves with baby oil in full view of the public.
The chaotic scene was caught on video, showing men and women dousing themselves in oil, with one woman’s oiled-up breasts slipping out of her top as onlookers cheered.
The use of baby oil was a recurring theme during Diddy’s two-month federal trial, where prosecutors presented it as a staple of the coercive sex marathons Combs was accused of orchestrating. Over 1,000 bottles were reportedly seized from multiple homes and locations tied to the music mogul.
In her testimony, Cassie Ventura, one of the central witnesses, recalled being instructed by Combs to use baby oil to appear “glistening” during their first freak-off. She also described a hotel scene where a kiddie pool filled with baby oil was used during one of the alleged encounters.
Combs’ defense attorney, Marc Agnifilo, made light of the prosecution’s focus on baby oil during closing arguments, accusing the government of obsessing over irrelevant details.
But the baby oil made one final appearance — this time outside the courtroom, where supporters reenacted some of the trial’s most talked-about elements, turning a federal courthouse into a chaotic scene of celebration.
As authorities continue to monitor the area, the surreal display underscores just how deeply the trial — and its disturbing allegations — have penetrated public consciousness.
