Doha Diamond League (Mckoy’s News) – Newly crowned Jamaican female 100 and 200 meters sprint queen Elaine Thompson displayed her class once more on the tracks to finish ahead of a compact field in fine style clocking 22.19 second at the Doha Diamond League held on Friday may 5th at the Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha, Qatar.
Thompson had the best of her two colleges Simone Facey and former record holder Veronica Campbell Brown who finished fourth and fifth respectively in 23.00 seconds and 23.09 seconds.
Despite running in strong headwinds Thompson strut her stuff to show her athleticism ahead of her nemesis Dafne Schippers who clocked 22.45 to take second and Marie Josee Ta Lou who finished third in 22.77 seconds.
